And the world keeps turning as the dreaded Christmasland nears.

Just kidding. I'm actually a fan of Christmas. I'm one of those people you've probably had to work with at one time or another who willingly wears a santa hat - heck I even bring my own. I love buying presents for my friends and family and eating the Christmas fruits like apricots and peaches and cherries. The only thing I hate about Christmas is that I never have as much money as I would like to spend on those I care about.

But: That may be changing soon! My girlfriend Kiba just got a new job at an adult store as a floater - which means she goes to whichever store needs her to work. The store she applied at is right across the road from where we have our weekly coffee meets and they may be looking for someone so I handed in my resume on Tuesday. Fingers crossed! It's permanent full time - I've never had a full time job!

Don't get me wrong, I -love- working where I am right now. But our store is still up for sale and I know it may be a while til we're sold, and we may get an owner who likes us, but I'm really not liking the uncertainty of the whole deal, and I can't pass up the chance for full time employment.

Anyway, what else is happening in Mistyworld..

Well, I've started a new project mostly involved through the Ozfurs group on FurAffinity. I contacted a bunch of the girls in the community and asked their permissions to work on a "Girls of Ozfurs" portfolio. Not everyone said yes but I had a really god response and will be able to make on heck of a huge folio. The whole thing is going to be tasteful rather than full-out lewdness, but I like to think there's still a market for people who aren't after porn. I plan to do a male version eventually too.

In other art news, my commissions are still closed and will stay that way until next year. If you're a close friend or will be gifting to a close friend, I may make an exception, but for the most part I want some time off from the pressure of working for other people.
